Hub Ned is a co-working space where people feel comfortable, creative, and productive. It’s a space where people feel part of a community of motivated, hard-working and conscientious individuals. Here, the Wifi is FAST and reliable!
We started this business to give members of the Peak to Peak community a place to gather, hold events, conferences and workshops, and an outlet for individuals and businesses to grow personally and professionally.
COVID has temporarily put a stop to gathering in groups and we miss member breakfasts and pizza nights, networking and fund-raising events, book club, workshops as well as the monthly massage and acupuncture events. We can not wait for those things to be part of our reality again but until that is a safe option, Hub Ned continues to be a space that encourages getting the job done so that you can get out and have fun — isn’t that the reason we live and work in this beautiful place?
Located in a state-of-the-art 22,000 sq ft multi-use commercial building right in the heart of downtown Nederland, we are home to a variety of local businesses, independent professionals, entrepreneurs, wellness practitioners and artists.
Hub Ned is a collection of modern spaces. The community room is a 2,000 sq ft space with abundant natural lighting and a variety of seating/workspace options, outdoor balconies overlooking town and Barker Reservoir, and a modern break area. A large shared office has 24/7 access and dedicated desks. There are two conference rooms and a phone booth room for client meetings or private conversation.
Our building is eco-friendly and features:
- 100% LED lighting
- High-efficiency heating and cooling
- Low-flow water fixtures
- R60 insulation
- Fiber Optic Internet
- 22 skylights
- 6 large decks
- Back-up generator
Jen & Steve’s Story
What happens when two New Yorkers make a small community nestled in the mountains of Nederland, Colorado their home? Well, quite a lot!
Jen and Steve Karowe each moved to Colorado in the early 1990’s.
Steve was traveling coast to coast building his importing business and looking for a place to settle down. Jen visited Boulder while in college, moved back after graduation and never left!
After starting a family, Jen left her corporate career and Steve relocated his business to Nederland so he could be closer to home. Knowing from experience that working from home has its challenges, they saw the need for a space for people who work from home to gather and be productive. They decided to build a commercial space at 80 Big Springs and within that space they opened Hub Ned, the first and only co-working space in the Peak to Peak region.
“So many people commute down the mountain every day, but with the ability to work remotely at a professional space with FAST wifi, people can save themselves AND the environment from the long drive and also have more time to enjoy this beautiful spot we call home. We love this community and the people who live here, and supporting local business and economy is one of our fundamental goals.”
80 Big Springs is the home to over 10 locally owned and operated businesses.
“Hub Ned is a resource for all kinds of community needs. It’s a vibrant community for local professionals, freelancers, entrepreneurs, and creatives. We want be seen as an amazing gathering space that is both professional and comfortable where people come together and benefit from each other.”
If you’re looking for a place to work remotely, host your next event, or get plugged into the community, schedule a tour. Jen & Steve look forward to meeting you!
